How can Plantclub help my company?

Plantclub helps companies provide their employees with the best office plants wherever they work. Rent office plants and transform your workspace into a green oasis, with flexible monthly membership options to suit your size. Diversify your employee perks with a dedicated company store, where you can give green gifts and your team can buy plants for their home office. 

How does the Plantclub consultation process work?

We start our design process off with a quick phone consultation to understand your needs and to introduce the various options we offer, whether that’s our free Home Office plan for your employees to buy plants or a jungle in your office. You can book a consultation call with us via Calendly or leave your email and we’ll reach out to you. 

If you’re looking to bring plants into your office space, we’ll then set up an on-site appointment at your office. These typically last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the space.

We will then create a full design concept for your space according to your needs and the office conditions.

Are the plant consultations free? 

Yes, all our consultations are completely free, including the full design concept. If you don’t like our proposal, no hard feelings - you don’t need to pay anything.

Plant rental for offices

Do you take care of the plants?

Yes, our Plant Experts take full care of all plants that we rent out. This includes watering, pruning, fertilizing and repotting. Plus, we also reposition or exchange any plants if they’re not looking so healthy. 

How often do you come to take care of the plants?

The amount of care that plants need depends on the season, but typically we come every two to three weeks at a fixed time slot of your choice.

The substrate that we use holds 3x as much water as regular potting soil, which is gradually released to the root system - meaning our plants can last a lot longer between watering.

What size of plants do you rent?

We rent all kinds of sizes of plants depending on what works for your space. This is likely to be larger plants for standing on the floor and something smaller for desk plants or hanging plants. During the consultation period we‘ll establish what will work best for your needs and the conditions of the space.

Which types of office plants do you rent?

We rent hundreds of different types of plants, from Monsteras to succulents, and Dieffenbachia to Ficus - we choose a wide range of plants to give a beautiful range of greenery to the spaces that we work with. There is a lot to consider when choosing the best plants for office spaces, but we purposefully select relatively low maintenance indoor plants that aren’t too fussy in office environments.

Does Plantclub have plants for offices with low light?

We work with plant experts who select the most suitable plants for your office. When choosing plants, they take into account the light level, the temperature in the office and the ventilation of each room.

How much does it cost to be a Plantclub member?

We have a number of different membership plans depending on the size of your office and the types of perks that you want. 

Is there a minimum plant rental period?

Yes, there is a three month minimum rental period, but we’re extremely flexible after that with a 30 day notice period. 

What happens if one of the plants dies?

Hopefully that won’t happen since we give professional care to all the plants that we rent out! However, if one does die then we’ll swap it out for a healthy one. 

Do you offer discounts?

We currently offer a 20% discount for yearly membership plans which are paid upfront.

Each membership also includes a discount for your employees to shop in our Employee Plant Store.

What kind of pots do you use?

We use a range of different pots that our designers pick in order to fit the design of the office space that we’re working with. In doing so, we always make sure to use sustainable and high-quality products.

Where do you source the plants from?

We buy all of our office rental plants plants from sustainable growers across Europe. Check our our main supplier’s relevant certificates and accreditations that ensure minimal environmental impact, high quality control and a systematic environmental management system.

What kind of fertilizers do you use?

Wherever possible, we use organic (bio) fertilizers to keep our plants and the environment happy. 

Do you offer seasonal gifts or events?

We do! We are happy to accommodate your wishes if you have something specific in mind.

For our Rainforest members, we are happy to hold group events to teach your team plant-related topics.

Is renting cheaper than buying plants?

We’ve thought (and written) a lot about the topic of renting vs. buying office plants. You can certainly get better quality when you rent, and since you don’t have to worry about keeping them alive, you don’t need to go and buy more if any die. 

Do you provide care for existing plants? 

Care is included for all your existing plants from our Woodland, Jungle and Rainforest plans.

What happens when I move office? 

Like care for your existing plants, all office moves are covered for free from Woodland and above. Let us know when you’re moving and we’ll ensure all the greenery makes it there alive. 

Do you use any fake / plastic plants? 

Nope. Fake plants might be the only option when you have very little light, but we work with living plants because of our love of nature and the benefits that office plants bring

Do you do outdoor office plants?

No, we make our focus indoor plants, as outdoor greenery for balconies, roof terraces and gardens runs a higher risk of replacement due to uncontrollable outdoor conditions.

Are there any additional costs other than the monthly membership fee?

Absolutely not. You pay one fee per month and that includes all your plants and maintenance. Nothing more.   

Plants for Home Office

How can employees at my company order through Plantclub?

Arrange a free consultation with the Plantclub team so that we can get your company up and running on the Employee Plant Store. Once your company store is created, your employees will be able to order immediately from there. 

Do you support vouchers or gift plants? 

Yes, this is something that we support and employees love. Book a time to talk to us and we can explain all the details. 

 

Do you offer both indoor and outdoor plants?

No, the store is specifically curated with a large selection of indoor plants for your houseplant collection.

Does the price include a pot?

For many of our products, you are able to choose whether your plant comes in one of our selected pots or in the original nursery pot. By choosing a pre-potted plant you get a beautiful plant without having to worry about finding the right pot.

Do you provide care instructions for the plants?

Yes, each product page includes dedicated care instructions so you can keep your plant looking healthy and happy.

Which payment methods do you support?

We support payment via PayPal, credit / debit card. Apple Pay is also available when checking out via Safari as your browser.

Is my data protected?

Yes! All data is processed in accordance with GDPR requirements. You can read our Privacy Policy (in German) for more information. 

I have a discount voucher, how do I use it?

You can enter the discount code on the checkout page before paying for your items.

Where does Plantclub deliver?

We currently deliver across Germany and Austria.

What type of delivery do you use?

We use the courier Hermes for deliveries within Germany and DPD for deliveries to Austria.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes up to 10 working days. Over holiday periods delivery times may be a bit longer, but we will always send you tracking information so you can follow your plant’s journey.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs 5€ and is free for all orders over 60€.

If you have a voucher code for free delivery, make sure that you enter it during the checkout process. 

Why don’t I receive the shipping information immediately?

At Plantclub we choose to order stock on demand, in order to ensure the high quality of our products and to minimise waste - meaning we will first source your order once it has been placed.

What happens if I’m not at home when you deliver?

To make sure that you can be at home at the time of delivery, you will receive a tracking number that will allow you to follow your delivery’s progress. If however, you are not home at the time of your delivery, Hermes will leave your package with a neighbor or at your local PaketShop and notify you via note.

What happens if I only received part of my order?

Due to ordering stock on demand, it is sometimes the case that we will send you the part of your order that is available and the remaining parts at a later date. If this is the case we will always inform you, however should you have any questions regarding the items in your order, please contact us at hello@plantclub.io.

What happens if I’m not happy with the plants that I ordered?

If you’re not happy with the plant that you have received, please let us know by reaching out to hello@plantclub.io including a photo of the item and we will work out a solution with you.

In which cities is Plantclub available? 

Currently, our memberships are available in Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna, however we’re looking to expand to additional cities across Germany soon. You can always register your interest even if you’re outside these cities and we’ll tell you when we’re coming to your city. Our Home Office membership is available across all of Germany and Austria.
